Her foster family describes her as a world-class cuddler who simply wants to be close to the person she trusts. She follows her favorite humans from room to room, always watching, listening, and taking in the world around her. Her adorable head tilts are impossible to resist and perfectly capture her sweet, inquisitive personality.<br/><br/>Since arriving in foster care, Telly has been a quiet and gentle companion. She enjoys lounging near her foster parent while they work from home and has settled in nicely with the resident dogs. While she doesn't actively seek out canine companionship just yet, she coexists peacefully with other small, moderate-energy dogs. She has only barked once so far and prefers spending her time snuggling, exploring, and keeping her person company.<br/><br/>Telly is pee pad trained and is currently working on crate training and outdoor potty habits. She is still a little nervous on a leash and can become distracted outside, so a home with a fenced yard where she can safely explore at her own pace may be ideal. She is very food motivated and has already started learning commands like down and wait. Despite her enthusiasm for treats, she shows no signs of food aggression or resource guarding.<br/><br/>Telly can be shy when meeting new people and has become very attached to her foster family. She may feel anxious when her person isn't nearby, but she is not destructive or vocal. When startled, she may seek comfort under a bed or in another cozy hiding spot until she feels safe again.<br/><br/>Telly would thrive in a patient, lower-key home with older children who can respect her need for time to adjust. Her future family should be committed to continuing her training, building her confidence, and helping her learn that the world is a safe place. In return, they'll gain a loyal best friend who wants nothing more than to love and be loved.<br/><br/>With her non-shedding coat, gentle nature, and irresistible face, Telly is ready to leave her past behind and become someone's devoted snuggle buddy.
