Tehya Catahoula Leopard Dog & Terrier Mix Baker, LA

Meet "Tehya", a 4 year old female Catahoula/terrier mix! Tehya was named by her finder, which means "Precious" in Native American.

Tehya was abandoned at a horse farm in Mississippi where she was found starving to death and left to die. Since being found, Tehya has been nothing short of a sweetheart and grateful for a second chance at life. Tehya wants a human or family of her own to love - she has the sweetest demeanor. She has a very quiet temperament, is low energy and gets along perfectly with other dogs (and horses)!

Tehya is now healthy, spayed, and fully vetted and has been started on monthly heartworm treatment/prevention since in our care. She did test heartworm positive at the time of her first visit, but will clear to negative in the future as long as she is kept on Advantage Multi preventative.
