Meet Teddy
Teddy dad is an elderly man who could no longer take care of Teddy. Teddy in a foster home in Harlem and he has come a long way. He was very frightened at first. Now Teddy walks on a leash and spend cuddle time with his foster parents. There are 4 cats and he is not crazy about them. Teddy is 7 years old
A note from Teddys foster mom:
Teddy is a sweet little man who loves to be your shadow. He will follow you everywhere, and loves nothing more than to cuddle up with you on the couch or in bed while you read or watch tv. Teddy loves to play fetch with his favorite squeaky toy, and his quite good at it! We have trained him to walk with a leash and harness, and he has become quite a little expert with it. He has even taken a bath and he did a great job! Teddy has been living with 4 young cats, and while they can be annoying, he has developed patience with them. He can be a little fearful due to his past but when he develops trust in you, he is more open to facing challenges and learning. He would do well with an experienced owner. When meeting new friends (cats and dogs), structured, patient introductions work best.
