Teddy

Meet Teddy! Teddy and Buster came together from the same home. They were surrendered by their family to another shelter that was getting over-crowded. They are currently separate and doing well, so they do not need to be adopted together. But they are familiar with each other and do well with each other so we would also adopt them together.<br/><br/>Teddy is about 3 years old. Our best guess for breed is a doodle. He had a very matted thick curly coat which we did shave down to give him a fresh start! Teddy is very eager to please and playful. He has a lot of energy and sometimes can be mouthy when excited, but not in a mean way. He would benefit from obedience training and a family that can give him proper exercise and play.<br/><br/>We are still working on introducing them to other dogs. We have not yet cat tested them.<br/><br/>An approved adoption application is required. The $250 adoption fee (payable by cash or check only) includes spay/neuter; microchip; dental teeth cleaning (if needed prior to adoption); vaccinations; heartworm and tick disease testing; fecal w/ giardia testing, monthly heartworm and flea and tick prevention . Dogs for adoption may be seen by appointment only following an approved application. Proof of completion of an obedience class is required for all dogs following adoption. Please note: while we welcome out of state applications, we do not ship our animals and require adopters to come to Holland to finalize any adoption.
