Teddy's Story
Meet Teddy!
Teddy is a 3-year-old Rat Terrier/Poodle mix with a big heart and a wonderful personality! Weight at 14 pounds
Teddy came to Prairie Paws Rescue as a surrender when his family was no longer able to care for him. He was very loved and well cared for and lived happily with three children, so he knows what it’s like to be part of a family.
Now that Teddy is settling into his foster home, we’re getting to know even more about this handsome little guy. He is very social and is currently living with other dogs his size and cats. As he becomes comfortable in his new surroundings, we’ll continue learning about his personality and all the things that make Teddy special.
One thing Teddy already enjoys is going for walks! He walks nicely on a leash and would make a great little walking buddy for someone who enjoys getting out and about.
Teddy came into rescue without having his medical care completed. Before he heads to his forever home, all of his veterinary care will be updated, including his neuter. Because Teddy was not neutered when he arrived, he has a tendency to mark/pee. We expect this behavior to improve after neutering, along with consistent routine and training.
Most of all, Teddy has a great personality and a sweet, social nature. He is ready for a fresh start and a family who will love him for all the years ahead.
* Teddy will need routine grooming ti keep his coat looking its best
Could Teddy be the little companion you’ve been looking for?
Teddy is ready to find his forever family!
All medical work is completed prior to adoption including neuter shots worming flea treatment rabies shot kennel cough micro chip grooming and vet examination.
The adoption fee is $200 +tax with an approved application..The pre-adoption application is available on the website www.prairiepawsrescue.com.
Prairie Paws Rescue does not adopt on a first come basis but who will provide the best home suited to the pets needs.
