My name is Teddie. I am a loving and very affectionate boy that just wants to get love and give love! <br/>Somehow I wound up in a very scary shelter, and I was terrified there! I cried, I shook and I felt very alone. I heard people talking in the shelter, and I heard someone say that if I didn't improve I could be killed. <br/>Sadly, that made me even more scared and upset. <br/>Luckily, an employee at the shelter decided to help me to feel better and she made friends with me. She let me hang out in her office and let me sit on her lap. This made me feel like someone cared for me, and I started to feel better. For 2 months this nice lady took me out of my kennel so I could sit with her. She talked to me, petted me and told me nice things. <br/>I was still sad because I had a home before the shelter. I had lived my person and my person loved me, but now I was in a very scary and loud shelter that felt like a prison to me. I spent 2 months there, and again I heard awful things that no one was choosing me and I was in danger due to overcrowding. <br/> <br/><br/>Guess what?!? Last Saturday my now "rescue mom" emailed the shelter and asked if she could meet me. Of course, the shelter staff was excited and so was I! <br/><br/> <br/><br/>Well, "Sharon" came in just like she promised. She was confident and so nice to me. I knew she was just checking me out, but I did so well that she told me that I was going home with her! OMG I almost fainted!! Someone wants me and she was so nice and comforting! I could barely control my excitement!! <br/> <br/><br/>We arrived at my rescue mom's house and she introduced me to some other dogs there! I loved them all and they were also nice to me. <br/> <br/><br/>I also met a cat and even the cat was nice, and so was I ! I actually really love cats. <br/> <br/><br/>The rest is history. I felt like my old self again- free to love and be loved. <br/> <br/><br/>I cannot stop giving my rescue mom kisses and hugs. I am so happy to be in a home again and feel safe. <br/> <br/><br/>I am: 20 pounds, neutered, vaccinated and microchipped. I am a kind and loving boy that loves curling up in a bed while you work from home. I will check on you occasionally and just remind you that I love you! <br/>I don't really bark, but I have the cutest howl sometimes if I cannot see you for awhile I howl so that you will come to see me, and I will know you are still here for me <br/><br/>I would love a home where someone is home with me a lot. I like being with the people I care about! I love giving kisses and affection! <br/> <br/><br/>Would you like to meet me and see if we are a match?
