Ted has great house manners, walks beautifully on leash, and does great out and about — even in busy, dog-friendly stores. He’s also an excellent car rider, calmly sitting in his seat like the perfect passenger.<br/><br/>Ted isn’t much for toys or rough-and-tumble play, but what he lacks in playfulness he more than makes up for in loyalty and affection. His favorite place is right next to his person. Because of his laid-back nature, he would thrive in a quieter home — ideally with someone looking for a calm, devoted companion.<br/><br/>When it comes to other dogs and cats, Ted can coexist just fine but prefers his space and doesn’t seek out interaction. He communicates clearly and respectfully if he needs a little room. After likely going without in the past, mealtime is his favorite event of the day!
