And this is your sweet face of the day. And probably of the month! This is Taylor whose coat is the color of vanilla ice cream with caramel on it. And I promise you, she’s just as sweet. You also need to know how smart and eager to learn she is. Taylor has only been in the program several weeks, but she’s learned as much as dogs who’ve been there twice as long. That’s impressive. Really impressive. Taylor looks to be a white lab mix. She’s about seven months old. Current weight is around 35 pounds. Taylor is a beautiful girl...she’s very, very sweet and people-oriented. Make no mistake about it, Taylor is a special dog. There is no doubt that she’s going to be someone’s dog of a lifetime. That’s how much potential she has and how much love she has to give.She is highly intelligent. She would do well in a quiet home.

Taylor is in the Paws in Prison program where she receives obedience training. He is expected to graduate from Paws in Prison on November 1st. . The dogs in this program are trained under the AKC Canine Good Citizen standards and are specifically selected to be family and companion dogs. They spend 24 hours a day with their trainers. For that reason, they will do best in homes where they are primarily inside dogs and spend lots of time with their families. The adoptive family will receive her training journal. This journal documents everything from his entering the facility, his daily training progress, and interactions with his trainers.
