Tawny's Story

Tawny is an adorable 10 month old beagle pup who didn't cut it in the hunting world! She is looking for a foster home or adoptive home. She just arrived to us 10/5 and is learning how to be indoors. She is great in the crate and pretty good on leash too. She still needs to get the hang of house and crate training but is working on it and will do great with consistency! She loves other dogs and doesn't mind cats either.

Check out unfurget.org under Adopt for an application to adopt or take her home on a trial adoption.

Furget Me Not's Adoption Policy
All pets are evaluated medically and behaviorally before being placed in foster homes and placed up for adoption. Dogs and cats go to potential adopter's homes on a foster or "trial" basis to begin with. We supply everything that they need to get started so there is no upfront cost. We provide the guidance and support needed to have a successful experience for both you and the pet. Depending on the pet, you may find out whether it's a good fit or not within a few days or it may take weeks. Regardless, our goal is to make sure it's a good match and that both you and the pet are happy. We pride ourselves on a streamlined foster to adopt process and are committed to being matchmakers.
