Tatum's Story
Tatum (also known also as “Tater”) is 8 years old and weighs approximately 70 lbs. She likes other dogs, but isn't always respectful of them, especially when attention or treats are involved. She has not been around cats, but is generally not good with small animals like rodents.

She knows many commands/words now such as treat, sit, down, wait, ok, shake, high-five, take it nice, timeout, leave it and will play dead if you hold your finger out and say “stick em up.” She also knows “it’s ok” (if she is worried), want, dinner, bath, walk, go (means leave in the car mostly), ball, out, camping and bed.

Tatum is great with kids and absolutely loves people. She would do best with children older than 7 just because she has a lot of bully enthusiasm and isn't always careful about where she is going or who she might be knocking over while in wiggle mode. She loves to sleep in bed with her human and is a very good cuddler. She is crate trained and knows it as her “house.” She will go in their voluntarily if you tell her to “get in your house.” She would like to bring her house to your house.

Tatum doesn't require a lot of exercise and would do well in a home with little or no yard as long as she gets a couple leash walks a day. If left in the yard, it will require a secure fence as Miss Tatum is inclined to leave the yard to say hello to any people she might see.

Tatum has lived a happy life in recent years and been well loved. She is seeking a new home due to a medical emergency that has left her person unable to care for her. Please help us give her human peace of mind by helping us find a loving home for Tatum.
