Our Mission

Dalmatian Rescue of Puget Sound is a 501c3 non-profit organization, EIN 27-1632985.

Dalmatian Rescue of Puget Sound is a network of people who are passionate about Dalmatians. Our mission is to get them out of shelters where they run the risk of being euthanized. We work with shelters and rescue groups, not just in the Pacific Northwest, but around the country. We bring them into our homes, and give them the loving care they deserve. When we can’t take them into our homes, we look for people who can. We look for ways to get them needed medical care, even if it means we pay for it ourselves.

Adoption Policy

We’re so glad you are interested in adopting a rescued Dalmatian. Here is how the process works:

First, you fill out the adoption inquiry

We will contact you for a brief interview

We arrange for you to meet the dog in their foster home.

If it's a good meeting, we arrange a second meeting in your home.

The next step is a trial stay, to be sure everyone is compatible.

You sign an adoption contract, promising to return the dog to Dalmatian Rescue of Puget Sound if for any reason you can not keep it, and pay an adoption fee.

You live happily ever after with your new best friend.

Adoption fees

Dogs younger than 10 years — $200

Dogs 10 years and older — $100
