TATER is Mr. Personality Plus, look at his ear-to-ear jughead smile. After rough beginnings, Tater was rescued and received a second chance. We would like to see Tater as an only doggie - though he does get along with other doggies, he merits the individual companionship and cuddles from his best buddy. He loves to tease and play ball in the backyard, car rides and just hanging out on the couch watching tv. He's a shorty so his legs won't climb Mt Baldy, but he enjoys leash walks and smelling flowers. All Star Fur Pet's Adoption Policy
Potential Adopters are provided an online link or applicants can also request a (pdf) Pre-Adoption detailed questionnaire to be emailed, for manual completion and return. ASFP will ask for a short video of indoor areas where pets are welcome to hang out, have access to the outside yard (terrace, patio, balcony etc), fence perimeter, video of yard and gate. Phone contact is then made to discuss the questionnaire (family acceptance, nutrition, exercise, vetting etc) and a follow up email is sent with comments or recommendations. If acceptable to all concerned, an appointment is made to introduce our furpet to the person. If it is a good fit, we proceed to do a home check. When there are other family dogs, we may ask to do a meet and greet on neutral territory. When all processes are acceptable, a copy of the Adoption Contract is reviewed and established.
