Tashi's Story

Tashi is a young, very happy boy that was found very matted and scared in Detroit. After no one claimed him, Tashi -which means good fortune-found his way safe and sound in foster.

Tashi is approximately 1.5 years old. He needs training to learn the rules (not to jump or pull on leash) but is very smart and is already learning. An experienced pet parent is his best match.

He gets very attached, loves people but is a great guard dog in the home, will come with his favorite chew toy/antler. He loves to chew! Very comfortable in crate and loves his walks and going to coffee shop.

Has not been around cats. Will need slow introduction to the right dog but would do well alone.

Appears to be a Lhasa (mix). Getting groomed next week. He weighs 21 pounds.

Tasha is neutered, up to date on all shots and on monthly preventative.

His adoption fee is $400. Applications at www. Midwrstsmallbreedrescue.org

Midwest Small Breed Rescue's Adoption Policy
Hello future adopters! If you find a pet you would like to apply for, please submit an application. One of our adoption representatives will be in contact if your application seems like a good fit. Once an application is screened, a representative will do a vet check to make sure your current and previous pets were taken care of. Once that is completed, a landlord check is often completed if you are renting. Provided that is properly screened, a representative will schedule a meet and home visit for the prospective pet.
