Taquito's Story

Taquito is a 4-month-old, 6 pound Chihuahua mix and one of the adorable triplets, along with his siblings Chorizo and Chamoy. He is everything you’d expect from a puppy—playful, energetic, and full of personality. Taquito loves to hand out sweet kisses and is always ready to roll over for a belly rub. He’s a happy little guy who enjoys playing and should do well with children who are old enough to understand how to be gentle and respectful with a small puppy.

Taquito does well with other dogs his size and would likely enjoy having a canine companion, but he should also be just fine as an only dog. As he’s still learning the ropes and gaining confidence, he will benefit from continued guidance with training.

Since he is still getting comfortable walking on a leash and can be a bit unsure in new situations, a home with a secure fenced yard will help provide a safe space for him to explore and grow.

If you think Taquito could be a great fit for you, apply today! His minimum adoption fee is $350 plus a $15 fee, if 4 months or older, for rabies registration for McLean County residents.

He has been neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, heartworm checked, dewormed, and is on flea and heartworm preventatives.

For information about this dog's breed(s), visit:
http://www.dogbreedinfo.com/abc.htm

To fill out our adoption application, go to:
http://fs16.formsite.com/WishBoneCanineRescue/adoptionapplication/index.html
