Tanner and Wilson - The Inseparable Brothers's Story

7 months old Tanner is a labradoodle puppy and his brother Wilson is a Lab-Vizsla mix puppy. They are very sweet and gentle boys, who are currently being fostered in Houston but can travel to any state, even Canada to the right home.

Tanner Wilson found themselves in a high kill shelter where they were surrendered by their previous owner when they moved out of state.

They are both very easy going, quiet, respectful pups. They are not rambunctious or destructive. They love to please their humans and listen obediently to instructions.

Tanner and Wilson are good with cats, dogs and kids. They currently live with both dogs and cats and respects their spaces.

Tanner and Wilson are good boys who love spending time with each other, as well as with their people. Tanner will prefer a second dog in his new home.

They are crate trained, potty trained, leash trained and socialized. They would love to have a fully fenced yard to play with each other and get their exercise.

Tanner and Wilson are about 7 months old, 40 lb, neutered, microchipped, fully vaccinated, and kept on heartworm and flea preventative.

Tanner and Wilson's adoption fee is $800 USD, or $400 for each. Transport fee is included with some states.

To meet these amazing pups via facetime or whatsapp or other video chat apps, please send a completed application via www.savesomesouls.com

Their adoption fee include all vetting (DAPP with booster, Bordetella, Rabies vaccine, multiple broad spectrum deworming treatments, spay/neuter surgery and recovery, heartworm and flea prevention), a microchip with free lifetime registration, a high quality nylon Martingale collar, Harness and leash. There is a transport fee for out of state adopters.

Yards, if any, MUST BE adequately and fully fenced to adopt our pups. We do not accept electric or underground fences.

Our dogs are fully assessed by foster parents, vets and behaviorists, as well as videos and video chats are available to observe their manners in public. We are extremely transparent and like to share everything negative and positive with the adopters, to ensure it's a good fit and they are not returned to us, as the trips are very stressful on them.

Houston is home to million strays, many who are abandoned, many born on the streets, many who escaped while living in the yard, which is common in Texas. Since our rescue does not get grants that shelters get, we use adoption fee to help the pups and kitties in our care. Your adoption fee goes towards vetting and feeding our long term and permanent fosters, and unadoptable pups, as well as towards the monthly care and preventatives etc of our pets. By adopting one pup from our rescue, you make room for another dog to be rescued our high kill shelter, thus becoming an integral part of our mission to save as many unfortunate dogs off the streets and shelters as possible. So Thank you for choosing to rescue, and not go to a breeder.

Save Some Souls's Adoption Policy
Once a pet is ready for adoption, we place them online. Potential adopters must fill out our application form, which is mandatory before meeting the pup. Once processed, the potential adopters and fosters are connected to share more info about the pup. After the application is approved for meet and greet, the potential adopters coordinate with rescue to meet the pup. For an in person meet, we require a copy of the drivers license to be sent to us for verification. Out of state adopters are able to do a facetime meet with the pup. After the meet, we take notes from our fosters for final decision. If the foster feels the pup and the adopter are a great match, then we move forward with homecheck. Homechecks are in person or via video apps like whatsapp or zoom or facetime, Once all works out, we send our contract and fee invoice, and schedule pick up of the pup, either in person or via transport, if out of state. All our pets are fixed before they are adopted, no exception. If your application is approved for adoption, but it is not appropriate for the pup you applied for, we would offer you the right match or direct you to a more suitable rescue group who may have the right pups for your lifestyle.
