This sweet senior gentleman is everything people love about a mature dog. He is friendly, affectionate, well-mannered, and incredibly easy to have around. He loves meeting new people, enjoys attention, and has a wonderfully social personality that makes friends wherever he goes.<br/><br/>Tanner came to rescue after being lovingly surrendered by a family who had grown to 10 dogs and simply couldnt provide each one with the individual care they deserved. It was a difficult decision made out of love, and its clear Tanner was well cared for and socialized throughout his life. Now hes looking for a forever family where he can be someones cherished companion once again.<br/><br/>This handsome little guy gets along beautifully with other dogs and does great with cats, he mostly just ignores them. Hes wonderful on a leash, kennel trained, and keeps his kennel clean by waiting to go potty outside like the good boy he is. Tanner truly is one of those dogs who settles into a home with ease and asks for very little besides love and companionship.<br/><br/>His favorite place is wherever his people are. Whether youre relaxing on the couch, enjoying a walk around the neighborhood, or simply going about your day, Tanner is happiest by your side.
