Tank Mixed Breed Jackson , NJ

Tank lived with a family since he was 6 weeks old. He even had a 5 year old human sibling. If you do the math on that, they probably came into the home at the same time. Unfortunately, one day Tank and the other resident dog got into a scuffle and both dogs sustained injuries. Sadly, Tank had to recoup in a kennel run at the local shelter. He sat there for a while as dogs who need to go into single pet homes aren’t as easily placed. They honestly didn’t know he would make it out. When our team met him, he was the happiest boy who does the cutest tricks. Clearly, this awful experience has not broken his spirit. When we expressed our interest in him, we were told that he was going into a foster home. We were extremely bummed but knew we could help another dog. Then we got a call that the foster fell through and we agreed to take him because we felt like it was meant to be!

His former family said he loves to snuggle and play catch. He did great with their son as well. He will be looking for a forever home with no other pets. He has zero reactivity towards dogs but we want him to live a stress free life and not worry about having to learn to live with a new dog. He is currently in a foster home and is said to be AMAZING! He is crate trained, housebroken and non-destructive. He is beyond friendly and lots all people in all different sizes.
