Talulah's Story

Meet Talulah! Talulah is a 1½-year-old basset hound with a big personality packed into her tiny 32-pound frame. This sweet girl is full of energy, love, and loyalty. If you’re looking for a constant companion, Talulah is ready to be your shadow — she loves human attention and wants to be involved in everything you do, even helping with chores and laundry!
Talulah is vaccinated, spayed, crate trained, and does well with other dogs. She thrives on routine and structure and has already made great progress in foster care. She is still working on house training and basic manners, so her future family will need patience and consistency as she continues learning.
Like many young dogs, Talulah has a few quirks. She can be protective of her toys and crate, and while she isn’t aggressive toward cats, she does enjoy chasing and barking at them. She also gets anxious during vet visits and does best with reassurance and gentle handling.
Talulah would thrive in a home where someone is around often because she truly loves companionship and closeness with her people. Beneath her playful, clingy personality is a loyal, affectionate little basset who just wants to be loved.
If you’re searching for a sweet, snuggly, fun-sized basset hound to share your life with, Talulah may be your perfect match!
