Tally's Story
Tally is a sweet 5-year-old Yorkshire Terrier who comes as a package deal with her beloved brother Tanner - and honestly, that's part of her charm. She watches over him constantly, and the devotion between them is plain to see.

Tally came to us timid and unsure of the world, but she's already making strides - warming up to new people and pets with a little time and patience. She is vocal and will bark at new sounds and activity, but settles quickly once she feels safe. She has been exposed to cats in her foster home and is making progress, though she may give chase when startled - so a home with calm, confident cats and patience for continued adjustment would be the right fit.

Tally is not a fan of crates and does best with open, comfortable spaces to call her own. She can be a little shy at the food bowl, so a home willing to feed her separately from Tanner will help make sure she gets her fair share. Because she tends to jump up enthusiastically to greet people, she'd be a better fit for a home with older children or adults.

If you're looking for a loyal, gentle companion - and a built-in bonded pair - Tally and Tanner are ready to find their people.
