BIO:
Hi everyone, I’m Terrific Tallie, owner of the tail that never stops wagging. I was picked up as a stray in Texas and brought to FTF to find my forever home. My foster mom says I’m one of the sweetest pooches ever, and that I love everyone I meet—humans and canines alike. I can’t get enough petting or belly rubs. One way I like to return the affection is by jumping up and wrapping my front legs around your body to give you a big hug. Of course, I also like to snuggle close on the couch and bestow gentle Tallie kisses.

I adore going on long walks, and though my leash manners need a bit more work, I’m easily redirected when I pull towards a squirrel or rabbit. It would be terrific if you had a fenced-in yard for me to run around in. But it has to be a high one (6-foot privacy fence) because, as mentioned, I’m a super jumper, and scaling 3- to 4-foot fences is easy-peasy for me. It’s okay if you don’t have a fence, just as long as I get plenty of exercise going on walks with you. I should mention I always do my business outdoors. And while I don’t like crates, I don’t need one, since I never get into anything and spend my time napping when left alone. The only requirement for my adoption, true for all young FTF dogs, is that you sign us up for training. I’ve heard these classes are really fun, and I can’t wait to learn new things that will make you extra proud of me.

One last thing. I’m not really into treats except for fortune cookies (did you know it’s the year of the dragon?). *Be at least 21 years of age
*Live in a 50-mile radius of Itasca, within the Illinois border
*Have the knowledge and agreement of all adults living in the household
*Have approval from owner of residence (written in lease)
*Have a valid ID with current address (please provide proof of address if ID address is not up-to-date)
*Be approved as a suitable adoptive home by Fetching Tails Foundation
*Be prepared to make a lifetime commitment
