Tahoe's Story
Tahoe is large, to say the least. He is laid back. He is deeply, profoundly unbothered by most things, and he would like to spend a significant portion of his life leaning on you while you both pretend he is not going to be a hundred and twenty pounds.

He is a Great Pyrenees and Shepherd mix who takes fully after the Pyrenees side of the family, which means he came into this world with a calm, easygoing, giant-boned gentleness that makes him an absolute pleasure to be around. He is not the puppy racing laps around the yard. He is the puppy surveying the situation from a comfortable position and determining that everything is fine and perhaps a nap is in order. He is magnificent at this. He has been doing it since birth.

For four months old, Tahoe is impressively well along potty training, crate training, and leash training are all in progress and going genuinely well. He is still a baby and has plenty of growing to do in every sense, but his temperament makes him a natural at learning, and the right home with consistency and patience is going to watch him flourish.

Tahoe loves kids and is cat tolerant. He needs to go to a home with an adult dog who can be his companion and his guide as he grows into what is going to be a truly enormous, truly wonderful dog.

If you have been looking for a gentle giant who will be your couch companion, your calm presence, your big beautiful shadow Tahoe is exactly that, and he is available today.

Adoption is $375, which includes spay/neuter at our vet, vaccines, dewormer, microchip, and clean bill of health. Although we work to potty train all of our dogs, we cannot guarantee full house training before adoption. Regression is a normal part of transitioning to a new home.

APPLY on our WEBSITE:
Rebeldogsdetroit.com/applytoadopt
Rebeldogsdetroit.com/becomeafoster
