Tahoe's Story

At 11 months old and 43 pounds of goofy charm, Tahoe is the full package: smart, hilarious, and full of life. He’s the kind of dog who bounds into life headfirst—whether it’s diving into water, chasing after dog pals, or charming every human he meets.

Tahoe is a high-energy pup who thrives in motion. He’s looking for an active home where he can keep up the pace and go on adventures with. His favorite type of day? One in which he is outside exploring most of the day or sitting outside and basking in the sun.

Tahoe is great with kids and dogs but given his boisterous personality, he would be best with dog-savvy kids and dogs who like to rough and tumble. He was in foster with small humans (2 year old and a 4 year old) and did great. He has lived with dogs of all sizes and personalities - he loves to play with the young dogs and respects dogs who ask for space.

He has great recall and would be an awesome off-leash hiking buddy. He spent 10 days at a board and train in upstate New York and he is ecollar trained.

He also sleeps like an absolute angel through the night - if its 7am, you might even be waking sweet Tahoe up to get ready for the day!

He’s ready to jump into his next big adventure—are you?

Tahoe is:
11 months old
43lbs
Great with all people, good with dog-savvy kids
Great with other playful dogs
Higher energy - would love a life full of adventure
Potty trained

We did his DNA and he is a boxer/lab/pittie/shepherd mix - he's even got a little pug and golden retriever in there.
