At Pippy’s Pals Rescue, our mission is to stand beside Houston’s most vulnerable dogs—those facing euthanasia in overcrowded shelters and those found on the streets with no one else to turn to. Guided by the spirit of The Starfish Story, we believe every dog’s life matters, and while we cannot save them all, we can change the world for the ones we rescue. We prioritize quality of care over quantity of intakes. By keeping our numbers small, we ensure each dog receives premium veterinary care, high-quality nutrition, individualized training, and unwavering support. We are equally committed to empowering our foster families with the resources and guidance they need to succeed, creating a compassionate bridge from rescue to forever home. Though the challenges of overpopulation are immense, Pippy’s Pals Rescue remains steadfast: every life saved is a victory, every dog placed in a loving home a testament to hope. We are here for them—one dog at a time. Please note, all of our dogs are fostered in Houston, TX. Once our dogs are ready for adoption, they are able to transport to many states nationwide. Our transport areas include the Northeast (NY, PA, CT, MD, VT), the Midwest (WI, MI, IL, KS, IA, MN) and the PNW (ID, WA, OR, UT).
