Meet Syrup, a 1.5-year-old Vizsla who is learning that the world can be a safe and happy place. Syrup came to us from a difficult situation and is understandably very shy and cautious in new environments.<br/><br/>She's been making progress in her foster home at her own pace. She's eating well, taking her medications, and is getting more comfortable each day. One of her favorite parts of foster life is her new best friend, Mango! She loves having him nearby and seems to take comfort from his companionship.<br/><br/>Syrup is still learning about things like leashes and being outside her crate, so she'll need a patient home willing to give her plenty of time, space, and encouragement. She may not be ready to jump into your lap just yet, but with patience and a little time, we're excited to see this sweet girl continue to come out of her shell.
