Meet Sydney! <br/><br/>Ginger coat cutie looking for a furever family! This sweet 3 yr old 40 lb American bully mix has had a journey filled with both challenges and hope. She was adopted and then found roaming the streets by animal control. She was taken to the local shelter where they reached out to her owner to reunite her. Unfortunately they never came for her. We believe she was just running to a better furever anyways and that’s exactly what we will help give her! For three months, she patiently waited for a new family to give her a second chance. To see her and choose her. Sydney was a shelter staff favorite, made friends with every dog she encountered and was a respectful kennel mate. Yet somehow was never chosen. <br/><br/>When we were asked to help, we were excited to be the team chosen to find her furever family. Despite her difficult past and time spent being over looked, she radiates joy and warmth. While in foster care we learned some of her most endearing quirks is rolling on her back submissively with tail and back wiggles. She also will low crawl on her belly, especially when she gets to enjoy soft blankets or spend time outdoors. She truly delights in new textures and experiences, savoring every little comfort that comes her way. <br/><br/>A true dream, she is house and kennel trained. She walks well on a leash and constantly looks for reassurance. She truly wants to please her people and be excepted! Don’t let the ginger coat fool you, she is a gentle soul who loves people. Shy on first meets, she warms up quickly. Loves to be held like the baby she is and melts into you. Once trusting her true affectionate nature shines through as she bonds with those around her. Her unique habit of sticking out her bottom lip ( she has the cutest under bite) especially when begging for treats or seeking attention it never fails to charm all that she meets.
