Swimmer's Story

My name is Swimmer. I am an adorable male yorkie mix. From the home I came from, I am probably mixed with mini schnauzer and shih tzu. I weigh 6 pounds and just turned one year old. When I was rescued I was a little bitty guy, about 4 weeks old. I didn't walk properly and after a vet visit, was told I had "swimmer syndrome" which meant I had been kept on a slick floor and never could get my back legs under me.. My foster mom worked diligently to ensure I didn't stay that way. I walk and run just fine and no one would ever know about my past. I am an adorable little guy. I am not fully housebroken. I get along with other dogs and do well if they are my approx size. I am fully vetted (neutered, vaccinated, dewormed). I prefer women. I have a sweet temperament. I have not been tested with children so my foster mom is seeking a home that is calm. A middle age woman or couple with tiny dog experience would be ideal. If you think I might be a good fit for you, please drop an email and tell my foster parents a bit about yourself such as other pets in the home, children in the home, etc.
