Sweet Boy's Story

Sweet Boy is a 6-7 year old neutered male. He is 115 lbs and is up to date on all his shots. He is heartworm and flea free. He is great with small children, cats and most other dogs, as long as they do not want to fight.
He is an excellent watch dog and literally saved my life from another dog who tried to attack me. He usually only barks if there is a valid reason.
He is house broken in the sense that he comes inside to eat and visit and spend the night occasionally and he doesn't make a mess or use the restroom while inside. He lets you know if he needs to go outside.
I do not leave him inside while at work and am not sure how he would do in that situation. I do believe that he would damage himself if crated. I do think he would stay in a fenced in area. He is medium energy level dog.
He doesn't seem to like birds, chasing the ducks at the pond if they get out onto dry land, he chases the hawks and the Egret so I am not sure how he would do with chickens and he has not been exposed to them.
Although he sticks close to home, he is a William Wallace type of dog in that he appreciates his freedom. If you are in public and he is allowed off leash he runs away even from me. Training would probably prevent him from doing so.
He comes with a custom built, for him, insulated large dog house that he adores
He would need a fenced yard, the larger the better and a country estate would suite him perfectly. Once he knows where he belongs, he stays on that property and protects it and its owners.
Kathryn Laws
Cell 770-843-3399

Courtesy listing.
