Meet Sushi <br/>Sushi is a sweet and affectionate Shiba Inu who has quickly shown us what a loving companion she can be. In less than a week in foster care, she bonded almost immediately with her foster mom, foster dad, and their child. While she definitely has those classic Shiba traits, she also has an extra cuddly side and absolutely craves attention from her people. She loves giving sweet kisses and being close to her family.<br/><br/>Sushi appears to be fully potty trained and has adjusted beautifully to home life. She has been slowly introduced to the male dogs in her foster home and has done very well so far, showing a more submissive personality around them. She has not yet been introduced to female dogs, so proper introductions will continue to be important.<br/><br/>Like many Shibas, Sushi will do best with an experienced owner who understands the breed and can provide calm, confident leadership. She will thrive with structure, patience, and someone willing to continue building her trust and confidence.<br/><br/>Sushi is looking for a loving home that will appreciate both her independent Shiba personality and her incredibly sweet, affectionate side.
