Meet Surf N' Turf!<br/>Surf is a 1 year old male Australian Shepherd mix. He's obviously quite a looker, but he also has the personality to match! Once Surf gets to know you he is a goofy pup with an endearing side that will make you fall in love.<br/>Surf was a farm dog at his previous house and didn't receive much socialization. The shelter is a big change for him, and it will take time for him to fully settle in. He is a very sweet boy, but he is easily spooked. He will need a patient adopter that can help him fully open up. As he's getting used to us, we are seeing his playful side come out. He loves to chase us around the yard and get into all sorts of trouble!<br/>Surf has been around dogs and kids before, and did well with them. He has never been around cats to our knowledge. With him being nervous in new situations, he should be supervised around children until he has a chance to get used to them. We always recommend a meet and greet with any pets or kids to make sure it's a perfect match!<br/>Since Surf is sued to the outdoor life, he will also need help with his training. He isn't housebroken yet, but he's still young enough that a dedicated owner will be able to show him the ropes. Surf does has a history of climbing fences, so a secure yard is a must to keep him safe!<br/>This sweetheart deserves better than sitting in a kennel all day.
