Sunshine's Story

Sunshine, as his name implies, is a happy, yellow lab chiweenie (?) mix. He is described as "the best dog ever!".
He was adopted eight years ago and his family hates to have to rehome him, but he needs to be rehomed.
House trained, fine left alone when you go to work or leave the house.... that's this easy-going, chill little dude! While he isn't a fan of car rides, he takes them in stride. Sunshine is great on a leash, great with other dogs, kids, and makes friends quickly with visitors! He'll woof and let you know when someone is at the door, but he's their friend (if you are too!) in less than a minute. He is a bit of a cat chaser when they run, but his intentions are not malitious. There were some kittens at his current home a few years back, and he was great with them.
Sunshine is smart and learns boundaries easily.... he's allowed on some of the furniture in his current home, and not others. He's good with that! This short and squatty boy would do fine with a shorter fence; those six-foot legs don't exactly make him jump like a kangaroo!
If you would like to meet Sunshine please email us today. We would love to hear from you!

ADOPTION PACKAGES: Our dog adoption fee of $200 includes a lovable, non-judgmental canine companion who is spayed/neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped prior to adoption. Your adoption fee helps support POPP's local spay/neuter programs.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION: Interested in adopting this or another POPP dog? E-mail us at dogsadopt@popptricities.org. Ensure that the DOG'S NAME and PETFINDER are in the subject title of your e-mail. Failure to do this may cause your message to be deleted with spam e-mail. We'd hate for that to happen! We get to know each dog as an individual and will do our best to describe each of our dogs based on disposition, not by breed label.
