Sunny (CP) Great Pyrenees Mix Justin, TX

Meet Sunny – a great pyrenees / pitbull mix big ole sweet baby looking for his forever home after being rescued from the streets, and given the medical care (aka neutering) he needs. If you are looking for a playful goober to snuggle with day in and day out, he's your fellow.

He is based in East Austin, TX / Travis County. A little less than a year old. Neutered and up to date on shots.

He loves to play with his toys in the backyard by himself! He's been in training, focusing on sit, stay, walk nicely, and tethering, and has really thrived with the consistency and shown a lot of progress. Very people oriented – he really likes when you lay with him (sometimes I just sit on him / over him and he curls right into me). He also enjoys playing with dogs at dog parks - when he runs, he does it with such exuberance you can't help but smile!

He currently lives with a cat and a dog. He will rarely chase the cat, but can exist with it very peacefully and will stop immediately when told no. He should be the only dog in the home unless you have training experience. He and my dog get along peacefully 80% of the time, but the 20% is a bad fight of resource guarding.

He would definitely enjoy an active home with people to play. He gets two walks a day, and plenty of backyard time.

He has not been tested with children, but has been super friendly to random people coming in and out of the house.
