The problem: this woman had SO many other dogs and it was not a quality of life for her. Besides a thorough adoption application, we believe a phone call, home check and overall personal relationship with potential adopters is so important. We know that adopting a new family member can be overwhelming, so hand holding and talking through the process with potential adopters is a crucial step. We believe that this allows both the new pet and new family to all feel supported.
