Sunkist is a 5.5-year-old, 23-pound sweetheart who has been through a lot, but she's ready to trust, love, and be loved! To say she immediately steals hearts is an understatement, as she's got charm for days! She was found as a stray in Sacramento and brought to a shelter before coming to us, and though she isn't a pug, we couldn't say no to her! We're at odds about her exact mix, some of us think she's a French Bulldog, others see a bit of Pug or English Bulldog in her, but whatever she is she's completely adorable and 100% perfect. <br/><br/>She's had some medical challenges and is recovering from chronic ear infections and hematomas, and she has a cherry eye that will soon be corrected. She's also on eye drops to keep her eyes healthy. None of this slows her down or dampens her spirit. Sunkist is ready for a fresh start where she can feel safe and cherished!<br/><br/>Despite everything she's faced, she has a warm and affectionate personality and is always ready to make new friends...especially people!
