Hello! My name is Sunflower. I am a 1-year-old, 45-pound, boxer/hound mix gal. have been doing well on my house training. I am a graduate of the Pups for Parole training program. I have all the basic training necessary to make a great companion. I will need a family willing to continue my training, I sure don't want to forget all that I've learned! I don't care much for being in a crate (can you blame me!?). I am pretty good on a leash. I get along great with other dogs after proper intros and I like kids too, though I might accidentally knock really small kiddos down. I haven't met any cats yet, but I can be cat tested if needed. I am calm, sweet, and a little shy. My favorite place to be is on my person's lap! My ideal forever home has a privacy fenced yard, I am able to jump a 4 foot chain link fence. Another dog to play with would be nice, but I would be okay as an only dog too, as long as I get plenty of attention from my people. I prefer to have someone home more than away as I so have some separation anxiety. If you are looking for a constant companion, I would love to meet you and brighten your day!
