Suki 3530's Story

2/24/26. Two-year-old SUKI is looking for her forever family. This beautiful girl was surrendered to MDAS, and when the people dropping her off were asked for ID, they just let go of her leash and walked out without even looking back. Good riddance to that garbage, because we’re going to make sure this young Dobie girl finds a loving family who actually deserves her.

She can be a little shy at first, but she warms up quickly and is very sweet. She really just wants pets, affection, and to be close to her people.

We haven’t had a chance to properly test her with other dogs yet, but so far she seems non-reactive. She walks nicely on leash and seems eager to please. Since she came from the shelter, we don’t have any history with cats or children. Not every dog is available for adoption or need a foster - some are wards of the rescue (usually due to medical reasons, but sometimes behavioral). These dogs will always be supported by DRL. We welcome financial support for these dogs. Here are links to foster and adoption applications for those dogs who need a foster home or adoptive home.
Foster Application Adoption Application
