Styles's Story
Hi there! My name is Styles, and I’m a 2-year-old AKC-registered Mini Australian Shepherd with a very handsome résumé and an even sweeter heart.

I was surrendered through no fault of my own—my most recent owner became ill and could no longer care for me. Now I’m looking for a new chapter with a family who can help me thrive.

I spent my early years as a show dog, which means I’m well-mannered, athletic, and used to structure—but it also means I grew up mostly in a kennel environment. Because of that, I can be a little shy when meeting new people at first. Don’t worry though—if you sweet talk me for a minute or two, I’ll warm right up and show you my friendly, affectionate side.

I’m leash trained, potty trained, and crate trained, and I know how to sit and come when called (my recall is pretty solid!). The vet staff absolutely adore me—I’m calm, cooperative, and very well-behaved during visits.

I’m a dog-friendly guy who loves to play, and I’m incredibly athletic. I’m basically made for dog sports and would be an amazing agility prospect, especially flyball. If you’re an active household with experience in agility, herding breeds, or working dogs, we might just be the perfect match.

I haven’t had experience with kids or cats yet, so slow and thoughtful introductions would be best if they’re part of your home.

If you’re looking for a smart, affectionate, and driven dog who’s ready to channel his energy into fun, teamwork, and adventure—I might be your guy. I can’t wait to find a home where I can truly shine!

I am up-to-date on vaccines, neutered, dewormed, microchipped, and heartworm negative.

**Important**

The cost to adopt is $250 and the adoption process begins with an Adoption Application that is located at: www.faithfulfriendsnc.org/adopt

Once your completed application has been reviewed the humans will contact you with questions and/or set an appointment for you to meet me. Thank you! Please read all guidelines before sending in an application. Do not reach out to the sanctuary ab
