Stu's Story

Say Howdy to Stu! He’s about 5 years old, 45ish#, corgi/aussie mix. He’s as friendly and as happy as they come. He does get nervous at times and appreciates words of affirmation to get him through his nervousness. Some would say he’s a corgi cosplaying as an Aussie. He loves to lounge around all day and prefers that his walks are on the shorter side unless the weather is perfect. He’s been voted the friendliest dog in the neighborhood, as he’s excited to see every human and dog that comes his way. He’s kennel trained and rarely barks unless he wants your full attention. Here’s what friends say about him:

“Chiller, does not flinch at fireworks! Loves to watch you eat and just be there by your side”

“He spends most of his days happily napping, with little bursts of energy & a love for rolling around in the grass. He’s well-mannered, & even though he’s slow-moving, he has the sweetest spirit.”

“He is relaxed, sweet, and comforting. He’s the cutest!”

Ideal home:

Somewhere he can relax and hang out most days. Minimal stairs as he hates going up them but will, going down is easier. If there’s a fenced yard that would be great or at least close access to grass. He’s kennel trained and when he needs to decompress he often goes to his kennel. He is curious about kids but wants them to be respectful. He’s also enjoyed the company of a friendly cat but still keeps his distance as he’s respecting her space. He’d love if his humans would continue being patient and encouraging as he can be a bit slow moving and loves to sleep in. I do you’re interested in meeting Stu, the first step is to complete the meet and greet application at https://www.corgisandfriends.com/forms We require the application, home and reference check and meet with everyone in the home. Stu is neutered, utd on vaccs, chipped, and HW-. His adoption fee is $375 and we do not adopt outside of Colorado.
