Meet Strudel
Strudel, 8 week old, male, GSD Mixed Breed
Meet the Pastry litter. They were found in an abandoned trailer on the Wind River Reservation with their mom, Persephone, when they were only one week old. Thanks to the Puppy Palaces at Aska’s Animals we were able to say “yes” to them and their mom without hesitation. Our team finds it so important to get puppies out of the harsh shelter system as early as possible or prevent them from entering the system altogether. Not only are they exposed to disease outbreak when they cannot be fully vaccinated but it will set back socially. At Aska’s Animals their team hits all their milestones of development with a thoughtful approach, introduces them to different life experiences, and keeps their health a top priority.
Persephone, their mom, is looks like she is made up mostly of German Shepherd and will be ~65-75lbs once she is at a healthy weight. We suspect her puppies will be around the same size. This litter has a great foundation put in place and we are looking for families that are ready to jump in head first to all things puppy. Whether that is socializing, training, etc. puppies take a ton of work and dedication.
All of our puppy adoptions include their vaccinations up to date, microchipping, spay/neutering, access to weekly Puppy Play until they are 20 weeks old (which we cannot encourage more), and a free private training session with a dog trainer!
Notes from Aska's Animals Team:
"Scent work everyday since 2/5. Nails trimmed 2/14. Introduced hard food 2/15. One of the more mild mannered babies"

THE AAC IS OPEN BY APPOINTMENT ONLY!
To set up a meet and greet, please fill out a dog adoption application ASAP or if you have already submitted one with us, call/email to put your name in line. We will form a line like usual based on who has an active and approved application in. We will go through our line to set up a private meet and greet for potential adopters to foster. 307-739-1881 adopt@animaladoptioncenter.org
Please note, Animal Adoption Center cannot guarantee the breed, composition or ages of our dogs as we usually have no history prior to them entering the rescue. We make every effort to ensure the dogs are healthy. Please know that our intention is to insure long lasting committed homes for the animals at the AAC. If we feel that an animal and a potential owner are not a good fit we reserve the right to refuse adoption.d
