She's spayed, medically up-to-date, and ready to be your new best friend and adventuring pal.<br/><br/>Rhubarb is sweet and energetic. She loves people and will run up to you looking for pets. Rhubarbs also playful and energetic and would thrive in a home with a big yard or one where she gets plenty of walks and adventures.<br/><br/>Rhubarb has met and likes older kids (9+). Were not sure yet how she feels about very young children or cats. Rhubarb is dog selective, meaning she will only get along with specific dogs, or prefer to be an only dog. She'd do fine walking past other dogs or co-existing at gatherings, but she doesn't want to be friends with every dog she meets. Because of this, we would highly recommend potential adopters bring any other dogs from the household to the meet-and-greet in order to test compatibility. <br/><br/>Come meet Strawberry Rhubarb today!<br/><br/>Since many of our adoptable dogs are in foster homes, appointments are highly recommended to ensure the animal you are interested in is currently at the shelter. Please call or e-mail the shelter to set up an appointment to meet and adopt!<br/><br/>Our adoption fees include the following: all of our dogs/puppies are current on vaccinations (DHPP and Rabies if over 3 months of age) at the point of adoption, dewormed, heartworm tested and current on preventative, microchipped, treated for fleas/ticks and are spayed or neutered. Our large dog adoption fee is generally $175 + tax. Our small dog and puppy adoption fee is generally $300+ tax. Adoption fees may vary in special circumstances. Due to space limitations, we do not hold dogs.<br/><br/>Because we are on a busy street, we require that all dogs leaving the shelter be in a carrier or on leash. All pets remain up for adoption until an approved application is processed and their adoption fee paid.
