Stormy Skye: One Tough (and Hilarious) Little Cookie <br/><br/>Born: Approximately July 3, 2026<br/>Breed: Rottweiler/Husky mix (our best guess!)<br/>Expected Adult Weight: Approximately 50–60 lbs.<br/><br/>Stormy Skye — Stormy for short — had a pretty rough start for such a little girl.<br/><br/>She was found all alone at a gas station when she was far too young to be on her own. A Good Samaritan brought her to the shelter, but because she was underage, she wasn't yet eligible for adoption. Then came another setback: Stormy tested positive for parvo.<br/><br/>That's when The Comeback Pack stepped in.<br/><br/>We rescued Stormy, got her into a loving foster home, and she served her time in isolation while receiving lots of care and attention. We're thrilled to say that Stormy is now testing negative, healthy, happy, and VERY ready to make up for lost time!<br/><br/>And boy, is she making up for it. <br/><br/>Stormy is playful, rambunctious, mischievous, fearless, affectionate, and ridiculously fun. She loves people, is great with other dogs, and is playfully curious about cats. She's basically a tiny ball of confidence with absolutely no idea how small she is.<br/><br/>We believe Stormy may be a Rottweiler/Husky mix, although with any shelter puppy, it's really just our best guess. She has the adorable face of a Rottie and gorgeous blue Husky-like eyes. We estimate she'll probably be around 50–60 pounds when fully grown.<br/><br/>Stormy is still a very young puppy, so her adopter needs to be ready for all the work — and all the fun — that comes with raising one. She'll need patience, consistency, training, socialization, and someone who can show her the ropes. Because of her age, we're looking for a home where someone is home most of the day and able to give her the guidance and attention she needs.<br/><br/>Stormy's adoption fee includes her microchip, age-appropriate vaccines, and spay. Her adopter will be required to have her spayed between 4–6 months of age, and we will be very strict about ensuring that requirement is met.<br/><br/>Because Stormy still needs vaccine boosters and her spay, preference will be given to qualified adopters in or near Riverside and San Diego Counties so we can make sure she stays on schedule with her remaining veterinary care.<br/><br/>Stormy will be ready to go to her forever home this weekend, and we're accepting applications NOW!<br/><br/>We absolutely adore this fearless little troublemaker, and we can't wait to see who gets lucky enough to call her family. <br/><br/>Apply to adopt Stormy at thecomebackpack.org.
