MEET STOᖇᗰY!<br/>This six year old girl can be a real ᖇIOT! But don’t mistake that as meaning she isn’t chill. She is a terrific house dog and so good with other animals! This GOᖇGEOᑌᔕ ᖇEᗪ ᕼEᗩᗪ 𝐢𝐬 𝐋𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐥𝐲, 𝐅𝐮𝐧 𝐋𝐨𝐯𝐢𝐧𝐠, 𝐘𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐠, ᔕ𝐦𝐚𝐫𝐭, 𝐀𝐟𝐟𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐞, a 𝐏𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐲 𝐆𝐚𝐥, who also loves to snuggle, nap,and hang out with the family watching TV. Stormy is 𝐂𝐮𝐫𝐢𝐨𝐮𝐬, 𝐏𝐞𝐨𝐩𝐥𝐞 𝐋𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐫, 𝐔𝐩 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐀𝐧𝐲𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠, 𝐄𝐚𝐠𝐞𝐫 𝐭𝐨 𝐋𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐧, and a Cat and 𝐃𝐨𝐠 𝐋𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐫! <br/><br/>It’s fun to watch ᔕTOᖇᗰY when she runs, plays, rough and tumbles with her dog buddies- and then to see her instinctively know when to adjust her behavior to match an older dog or disabled dog, etc. <br/>SHE’S JUST SWEET AS HECK! <br/><br/>TO TALK “ALL THINGS STORMY”, PLEASE CALL OR TEXT KIM AT <br/>630-803-9278 <br/><br/>______________________________<br/>READ HER RESCUE STORY:<br/>Our fearless director kept seeing Stormy 𝓻𝓾𝓷𝓷𝓲𝓷𝓰 𝓪𝓻𝓸𝓾𝓷𝓭 𝓪 𝓫𝓾𝓼𝔂 𝓲𝓷𝓽𝓮𝓻𝓼𝓮𝓬𝓽𝓲𝓸𝓷 in Shawnee, OK. One day she saw a man in the yard where the dog lived so she pulled over to talk with him. <br/>“𝓨𝓸𝓾𝓻 𝓭𝓸𝓰 𝓲𝓼 𝓰𝓸𝓲𝓷𝓰 𝓽𝓸 𝓰𝓮𝓽 𝓻𝓾𝓷 𝓸𝓿𝓮𝓻!” <br/>“𝐎𝐡, 𝐬𝐡𝐞 𝐚𝐥𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐲 𝐝𝐢𝐝, 𝐬𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐥 𝐦𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐡𝐬 𝐚𝐠𝐨.” <br/>__________________________<br/>WHAT HAPPENED NEXT?<br/>Long story short, he hadn’t been able to afford taking Stormy to a vet, she’d been down for the count and unable to walk for awhile, and at that point, other than her back leg not working right, she was doing better and had started running around again. Sherry knew that good vet care would get her “right” again, and that she could get her to a safe spot where she won’t be killed by a car! The two agreed that she’d become a SPAR Dog! <br/>__________________________<br/>VET CARE AND SURGERY<br/>It was during her vet visit, that same day, that x-rays revealed the extent of the damage. This precious girl had been 𝐡𝐢𝐭 𝐛𝐲 𝐚 𝐜𝐚𝐫 alright which left her with a 𝐛𝐫𝐨𝐤𝐞𝐧 𝐩𝐞𝐥𝐯𝐢𝐬 as well as a 𝐝𝐢𝐬𝐥𝐨𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐟𝐞𝐦𝐮𝐫. The head of 𝐡𝐞𝐫 𝐫𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭 𝐟𝐞𝐦𝐮𝐫 is now 𝒔𝒊𝒕𝒕𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒐𝒖𝒕𝒔𝒊𝒅𝒆 𝒐𝒇 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒉𝒊𝒑 𝒔𝒐𝒄𝒌𝒆𝒕 in muscle! <br/><br/>Over time, Stormy’s pelvis had healed on its own. But, a $3000 surgery was required to repair the damaged femur! Dr Streeter, an excellent orthopedic surgeon in Oklahoma City, put this CrAzY GaL back together! <br/>Now , we can find her a fun family to call her very own!
