**Hi, I’m Stormy… My name fits my past, but I’m ready for sunshine. I’m a 3-year-old, 26lb Miniature Schnauzer mix girl looking for someone who believes every storm deserves a rainbow. Life has been rough. You may have seen a post about me needing surgery and having my spleen removed. The vet thinks a car hit me. But thanks to these wonderful FCCR ladies, I am now healed, and I’m ready to find my forever home. I am still a little nervous and new people make my heart race because I’ve learned that not everyone is safe. But here’s my secret: once I trust you, I become your shadow, your most loyal companion, your girl FOREVER. I’ll follow you from room to room, sleep on my own little bed right next to yours, and show you what true devotion looks like. I have good house manners (mostly!), though I get a little excited sometimes. I LOVE treats (who doesn’t?!) and enjoy walks on my leash but need some training. I am not good with other dogs - I need space to be myself. All I need is patience, love, and someone who won’t give up on me while I learn to trust and blossom. Florida Coastal Cocker Rescue's Adoption Policy

**We do not arrange meet and greets without an approved adoption application. **First step is to submit an application through our website. **If you make it past the review and vet reference stages, you will be contacted about a home check and/or to submit photos of your home. **If you pass the home check, you will be contacted to talk to the dog's foster family and arrange a time to meet the dog. **Adoptions are finalized after the first few weeks. Vet records are sent and the dog's microchip is transferred to the new adopter.
