Stormie German Shepherd Dog Springfield, MO

Saved by Rescue One and my adoption fee is sponsored! I'm Stormie and I am grateful to be alive to tell you my story. I am a 2 year old, 65 pound beautiful German Shepherd girl. I came to Rescue One in April of this year and diagnosed as heart worm positive. I have been undergoing treatment for months, struggling to become strong, healthy and ready for my new life and family. It is best that I am adopted to a family locally since I still have a couple of treatments left before I am officially done. I also struggle with GI issues and I do require special prescription food and supplements that have to be taken daily. This can cost about $150 a month. Sadly, I can only have my own food (no eating off anyone else's plate).

Now for my strengths: I am chill, loving, and playful. I already know lots of commands, am housebroken, and am great on a leash. I like most kids, dogs, cats and I would like my family to be around a lot. I hope you wouldn't mind sharing your bed, couch and giving me lots of pets! I am anxious to find my fur-ever family!

My adoption fee is sponsored and includes my spay/neuter, vaccinations, wellness exam, heartworm test, and microchip!
