He came to us from another shelter, where they shared that he is a sweet little guy who gets along well with other dogs.<br/><br/> Since arriving at our shelter, our staff and volunteers have been having a great time with him. He's always thrilled to meet new people and greets everyone with a wagging tail and an infectious enthusiasm. His happy personality is balanced by a gentle, affectionate nature, making him a lovable companion who enjoys soaking up attention and, of course, plenty of treats.<br/><br/> Stewey is an active young dog who bursts out of his kennel ready for his next adventure. He is very curious about the world around him and loves taking everything in, whether it's other dogs, interesting sounds, or the activity happening around him. Once he has a chance to settle down, he happily relaxes for pets and cuddles, showing his sweet and loving side.<br/><br/> On walks, Stewey is eager to explore and can pull on the leash, so a harness is recommended while he continues to learn his leash manners. He is smart, attentive, and comes when called, making him an excellent candidate for continued training. With his love of treats and desire to please, he'll enjoy learning new skills with his future family. <br/><br/>Our volunteers describe Stewey as friendly, gentle, and incredibly lovable.
