Stevie -'s Story
Please read BIO before inquiring. Stevie is not available for adoption at this time!

Stevie is stable and doing great! She has learned to play with toys; a huge milestone we are very thankful for! She has thrived the entire time. She is a special needs French Bulldog pup of 5 months. We have had her since 2 weeks of age. She was born with birth defects that affected her eyes and hard palate as well as hydrocephalus. She will not be available for adoption until after her surgeries to correct cleft palate defect and to secure her eye lids closed. So far she seems to have no issues with the hydrocephalus and is out growing it. She has currently graduated from supplementary tube fed to eating all dry kibble on her own!!! Her cleft seems to be closing but but she may still need the repair and have her eye lids permanently shut around 6 months of age. She is learning to get her balance and can walk some-what by using her surroundings as support! She is still very off balance but we hope that she will have more control of her body in the coming months. She has grown into her large head and is filling out nicely. She has traded her no sight for super sensitive hearing. :) She has a lot of love to give one very special family in a few months but at this time we are not considering homes for her placement. If interested in sponsoring please contact chunkytrunks@sbcglobal.net for more information. We greatly appreciate any help you can offer. We will start accepting donations for her upcoming surgeries soon as we get an actual estimate. At this time these are projected to be around $3000-$4000. Thank you in advance for your support! She is absolutely not suffering or in any pain. Dogs can live happy lives without sight and her cleft defect is completely fixable. We absolutely have Stevie's best interest at heart and will continue to be advocates for bullies that may need help to survive and thrive. We thank you for your support.

Amazon wish list : http://a.co/1OUXNW2
