Stevie's Story

Sweet senior Stevie is a handsome guy who loves taking walks, wandering around his yard, and hanging out with his human. Just about 10 years old, Stevie is likely an Australian shepherd mix. He's pretty low energy in the house. He gets really excited when it's time to go for a walk and he jumps up and down at dinner time.

Stevie likes to lie at the top of the porch steps and just watch what's going on in the yard. He comes in when called, especially if there's a snack involved. He knows “out” and “eat” and is working on “place” and “touch.”

Stevie has excellent house manners. He's potty trained and has never had an accident. He doesn't chew or get into things. Stevie gets along well with calm, respectful dogs. He's been good with the kids he's met when he's been out and about.

He'd love a home where someone isn't gone all day. He'd really enjoy a fenced yard because he sure loves to spend time outside, just soaking in the sunshine. Stevie is a little shy at first, but comes out of his shell as he gets to know you.

This sweet boy is being fostered in the St. Louis area.
