Stetson is an 8-month-old black and tan Coonhound with the good looks, goofy personality, and youthful energy to match! This handsome boy came to us after showing up at someone’s home and deciding to stick around for roughly six weeks. We may never know where he came from, but we do know he’s ready to find a family of his own!<br/><br/>At just 8 months old, Stetson is still a young pup, and it’s pretty obvious he hasn’t had much training yet. He’ll need a structured home and someone who is patient, consistent, and willing to teach him his basic manners. The good news? He already appears to be housebroken and walks GREAT on a leash! <br/><br/>Stetson absolutely loves other dogs and does wonderfully with his canine friends. However, he has made it clear that he would prefer a home without cats. <br/><br/>As a young hound, Stetson has a busy mind and plenty of energy, so he would love a home with a fenced-in yard where he can safely stretch his legs and explore. An active family who enjoys walks, adventures, training, and keeping a young hound entertained would also be a fantastic match!<br/><br/>Stetson has so much potential, and with the right family to give him structure, guidance, and plenty of love, we know this handsome hound can become an amazing companion.
