Inside the home Stella exhibits resourse gaurding behaviors over her toys and bed. Because of this, she does best in a structured indoor environment. where toys and dog beds are kept out of rotation. interestingly, Stella feels much more relaxed outdoors, when she is outside in the yard, she is perfectly fine having toys around and enjoys her playtime immensely.<br/><br/>To set Stella up fo absolute success, she needs to be the only dog in the household. Also she reqires a home with no cats and no young children. In an adult-only, pet-free environmsnt with clear routines, Stella will make a incredibly loyal and devoted companion

Taunton Animal Shelter's Adoption Policy

**PLEASE CALL AHEAD FOR AN APPOINTMENT TO MEET PETS AT THE SHELTER. 508-822-1463** Adopt a "best friend" for life! Please remember that dogs and cats of all ages need and deserve happiness, love, and a home. In return, they will love you unconditionally for all of your years together. We adopt to New England Residents only and require current/past veterinarian references. An application is REQUIRED to adopt an animal. Vet references will be checked, as well as references for those who rent. Adoption of an animal will be based on APPROVED applications only. We do not accept debit/credit cards. Payment must be check or money order with proper ID or cash. If submitting an application for a dog, please email it to rdanielczyk@taunton-ma.gov or gasman6637@icloud.com Dogs are $200.00 and cats are $165.00 (kittens up to 6 months are $185.00). This price includes the spay/neuter, rabies shot, and other required vaccinations.
