Steele, lab mix, deserves a medal for being a volunteer and staff favorite! He is such a good boy and has had a rough time finding his forever home, due to no fault of his own. He was at our shelter for 5 years, adopted for 2 and now back at the shelter because of owner circumstances. He loves playing in our dog parks but would rather have a home of his own with a yard. Steele needs daily exercise, so an active family would be a plus. Steele is not a fan of kitties,but is OK with most other dogs his size. Steele's estimated DOB is 6/1/14 and he weighs approximately 55 pounds.

HSPC's adoption fee is currently reduced from $100 to $75 unless stated otherwise within the pet's description. Every pet that is available for adoption has been spayed/neutered, microchipped, wormed and is up-to-date on vaccinations including heartworm preventative (canines). Adopters are required to schedule a wellness exam with their veterinarian at their cost within 7 days of adoption. We are currently closed to the public and we will only respond to inquiries accompanying an application submitted through warmhearts.org/adopt.
