Staxx is an ADORABLE 5-year old bulldog mix. He is SUPER dog friendly, so if you are looking for a great companion for your dog, he STAXXS up!<br/>Staxx loves stuffies, watching squirrels and basically taking in all the attention he gets from being so dang cute.<br/>While he is only 55 lbs, he does pull on walks, so we are experimenting walking him on different collars and harnesses to see what works.<br/><br/>Staxx also has Stage 2 kidney disease, which is not reversible but treatable and may not worsen with consistent prescription food and supplements. We would need an adoptive home that could budget about $200/month for his food and supplements. Also, he would need to be seen at least annually, perhaps twice a year for bloodwork to check his kidney function. We have found two things that Staxx does not like. One of them is needles. So he would need to be sedated for bloodwork, and those visits could run about $400 once or twice a year. The second thing Staxx does not like is screaming kids. His foster home is near a pre-school daycare and every time the kids scream, he gets terrified and pulls like crazy to run home and hide.
